Here Are Three Balls
Here's a ball. (Make circle with
thumb and pointer)
And here's a ball. (Make circle with BOTH thumbs and
pointers)
And a great big ball I see. (Make circle with arms)
Now let's cont the balls we've made, one, two, three.

indexes and thumbs)
Add one more line will make a square (For square with hands)
I Can Count
I can count, want to see?
Here's my fingers -- one, two, three. (Hold up
fingers as you count)
Four and five, this hand is done.
Now I'll count the other one.
Six, seven, eight, and nine (Hold up fingers on other hand)
Just one more, I'm doing fine.
The last little finger is number ten.
Now I'll count them all again.

Five Pretty Flowers
See the five pretty flowers we planted near
the door (Hold up right hand)
A little boy picked one and now there are four. (Put a
finger down)
Four pretty flowers for everyone to see,
The dog stepped on one of them and now there are three.
(Put a finger down)
Three pretty flowers growing in the sun.
A caterpillar chewed a stem and now there is one.
(Put a finger down)
One pretty flower with a smiling face. (Hold thumb up)
I picked the pretty flower and put it in a vase. (Wrap
left hand around right hand with thumb sticking up)
Five Little mice
Five little mice were hungry as could be.
"Let's go to the kitchen and see what we can see."
The first little mouse found a tasty cookie crumb.
He ate it right up and said, "Yum, Yum Yum."
The second little mouse found a piece of jelly bread.
"that snack was pretty good," to the others he said.
The third little mouse found a big piece of cheese.
All of a sudden he started to sneeze.
The fifth little mouse hollered, "Hey! We'd better
scat."
"Here comes Tommy that big ol' cat!"
